Suma:

నాది.

Suma:

వాడిది కాదు. మా అన్నయ్యది.

Gopi:

నాయనమ్మది.

မနက်ဖြန် နှစ် ရက်နေ့။ အခုက အောက်တိုဘာလ။ မနက်ဖြန်က မဟတ္တမဂန္ဒီရဲ့ မွေးနေ့။

అవును. రెపు గాంధీజయంతి. ఇవ్వేళ అక్టోబరు ఒకటో తారీకు. మన తాతయ్య పుట్టినరోజు.

ဟုတ်တယ်။ မနက်ဖြန်က ဂန္ဒီဂျယန်သီ။ ဒီနေ့က အောက်တိုဘာလ တစ်ရက်နေ့။ ကျနော်တို့ အဖိုး ရဲ့ မွေးနေ့။

ఇవిగో!

చాక్లెట్లు బాగున్నాయి. వీటి ఖరీదు ఎంత తాతయ్య?

ချောကလတ်တွေက (စားလို့)ကောင်းတယ်။ ဒါ တွေက ဈေး ဘယ်လောက်လဲ ဖိုးဖိုး။

మొత్తం పదహారు రూపాయలు.

ఇది కొత్త కలం కాదు, పాత కలమే.  దీని ఖరీదు పద్ధెనిమిది రూపాయలు.

ဒါ ဘောပင် အသစ် မဟုတ်ဘူး။ ဘောပင် အဟောင်းပဲ။ သူ့ ဈေး က ဆယ့်ရှစ် ရူပီး။

Vijaya:

నా పుట్టిన రోజెప్పుడు తాతయ్య?

သမီးရဲ့ မွေးနေ့ ဘယ်တော့လဲ ဖိုးဖိုး။

పద్ధెనిమిదో తారీకు. దీని పుట్టినరోజు ఫిబ్రవరి పదహారో తారీకు.

ဆယ့်ရှစ် ရက်နေ့။ သူ့ မွေးနေ့က ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ ဆယ့်ခြောက် ရက်နေ့။
